By using Komitla Cargo’s services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Komitla Cargo reserves the right to modify these terms at any time, and the latest version will be effective immediately upon posting.

Responsibility and Liability

  • Komitla Cargo will take all reasonable measures to ensure the safe transport of your goods. However, we are not responsible for any loss, damage, or delay caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, accidents, or third-party actions.
  • The company shall not be held liable for any damages or losses to fragile or perishable items unless specific agreements have been made in writing prior to the transport.
  • The customer is responsible for ensuring that the packaging of goods is adequate and suitable for transport. Komitla Cargo reserves the right to refuse improperly packaged items.

Prohibited Items

  • The transportation of illegal, hazardous, or restricted items as per government regulations is strictly prohibited. Customers are responsible for ensuring that all items comply with legal standards and regulations.
  • In the event that prohibited items are discovered, Komitla Cargo reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service and will not be held responsible for any associated legal consequences.

Insurance

  • Komitla Cargo does not provide insurance coverage for the goods transported. Customers are advised to arrange for their own insurance coverage if required.
  • In the event of damage or loss, the company’s liability will be limited to the declared value of the goods or the actual value, whichever is lesser, and subject to the terms outlined in this agreement.

Payment Terms

  • Payment must be made at the time of booking or upon delivery, as per the terms agreed upon at the time of service initiation.
  • Invoices not settled within the agreed timeframe will be subject to interest charges as per company policy.

Claims and Complaints

  • Any claims for loss or damage must be reported in writing within 24 hours of delivery. Failure to do so may result in the claim being denied.
  • Komitla Cargo will investigate all claims and provide a resolution within a reasonable timeframe. The company’s liability is limited to the terms stated herein.

Delivery Terms

  • Komitla Cargo will make every effort to deliver goods within the agreed timeframe. However, delivery times are estimates and are subject to delays due to unforeseen circumstances.
  • Customers must ensure that the correct delivery address and contact details are provided. Komitla Cargo is not responsible for delays or non-delivery due to incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer.

Right to Refuse Service

Komitla Cargo reserves the right to refuse service to any customer or shipment that does not comply with our terms and conditions, or for any other reason deemed necessary by the company.

Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
